Not Guilty
02:57
|
|||
Eat a hole in my thoughts
Make it easy to believe
Put me under a spell
Make it easier to sleep
Lead me to what's right
Grab me by the hand
Gotta turn me around
No more playing in a rock and roll band
I'm not guilty, but I still won't win
'Cause God don't believe in me
'Cause I don't believe in him

When I Feel
04:15
|
|||
In a dream I said goodbye
But I could not in real life
I just got up and walked away
So I send you notes in the mail
As you become so much more frail
I know I'll never see you again
When I feel, I don't feel
It's not real
It's just something I know I'm supposed to know

I Exist
02:56
|
|||
I exist, in such a way
So uncomfortable and lame
Everyday you still don't know my name
As I walk by you in the hallway
I exist, but not at all
My mind is big, but my mouth is small
And I wish that I had the gall
To be blissfully ignorant, but I'm not at all
I exist while I sleep
I'm a real boy in my dreams
Bring me to life, help me breath
I got a letter
Says I'll die if I get better
I'll be alone all my life
And I don't have a God
To help me live after I'm gone
No, I'll just die

Cornflakes & Lemonade
03:31
|
|||
He has a knapsack full of napkins
To clean the mess he makes on a daily basis
Cornflakes and lemonade all over the floor
Infants will stretch like soft taffy
And cats will lick them clean
To rid them of the illness that his fingers leave
Their skin will sag until they grow to maturity
It's the price they pay to be intelligent beings

Cyclone
07:03
|
|||
Siren sounds across the countryside
Everyone hides inside their cellars
While I stand outside waiting
To be swallowed whole
The cyclone moves with limited grace
I stand in place, waiting
For a chance to see you again
For a chance to tell you..
But the cyclone lifts from the ground
And I am still in the town I grew up
And I don't know if I'll ever see you again
